Gov. Aguto Leads RDC Committee Meeting on Key Regional Development Concerns

Governor Ronald P. Aguto Jr. presided over the 3rd Quarter Regular Business Meeting of the Regional Development Council Committee on Development Administration and Communication (RDC-CODAC) in Tuguegarao City.

The meeting tackled key regional development and administrative concerns, including the implementation of School Safety Guidelines in Region 2 and proposed funding for the 2026 Community-Based Monitoring System of the Philippine Statistics Authority.

The committee also discussed efforts to streamline business registration processes, implement the Government Optimization Program under Republic Act No. 12231, and expand access to essential medicines through PhilHealth’s GAMOT Program.

As RDC-CODAC chairperson, Aguto emphasized the importance of coordination among government agencies in advancing responsive, efficient, and inclusive governance across Region 2.
