Mayor Michael Marcos Keon shared a series of personal community encounters and lighthearted interactions during an evening outing with Monette at SM City Laoag.

While shopping, the city chief executive met a local retail salesman named Milan, who originally migrated from Nepal to Ilocos Sur at seven years old, capturing a memorable photo with the accommodating store staff and later with visiting constituents from Badoc.

During the visit, the Politiko also crossed paths with several local leaders and former colleagues, including Ilocos Norte Senior Board Member RJ Fariñas, the newly sworn Sangguniang Kabataan Junior City Officials of Laoag, Vice Mayor’s Office staff member and former Barangay 1 Kapitan Darwin Damingo, and former City Treasurer Diomy Gayban.

Concluding the casual family evening, the local executive highlighted how spontaneous everyday interactions with residents and fellow public servants reflect the warm, interconnected spirit of the local community.
