Mayor Alcid Leads Rapid Response as Habagat Affects Laoag

Laoag City Mayor James Bryan Alcid personally inspected coastal areas, rivers, and several barangays as the city continued to respond to the effects of the prevailing southwest monsoon or Habagat.

Alcid also checked on the condition of residents, particularly those affected by flooding and infrastructure damage reported the previous day.

The mayor directed concerned city government departments and offices to immediately provide assistance and implement necessary interventions in areas affected by the calamity.

He also urged Laoagueños to remain vigilant and promptly report problems and concerns to the city government so these can be addressed immediately.
