Gov. Ronald Aguto Jr. Promotes Batanes-Made Products at Regional Trade Fair

Governor Ronald P. Aguto Jr. threw his support behind Ivatan entrepreneurs during his visit to the Batanes Pavilion at the 20th Padday na Lima Regional Trade Fair at Festival Mall in Alabang on August 25.

The pavilion features food and non-food products made by Batanes micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), giving local entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their products to consumers and potential buyers outside the province.

Aguto’s visit highlighted the Provincial Government’s efforts to strengthen local businesses, expand market opportunities for Ivatan products, and support entrepreneurs in bringing Batanes-made goods to a wider market.

The governor also met with DTI Region 2 officials, including Regional Director Ma. Sofia G. Narag, Acting Assistant Regional Director Atty. Michael B. Paggabao, and OIC Provincial Director Randolph Cacacho, underscoring the continuing partnership between the provincial government and DTI in promoting the growth and market reach of Ivatan enterprises.

The regional trade fair runs from August 24 to 30 at Festival Mall in Alabang.
